About Michael

Michael Graziano is a San Francisco musician, composer, and teacher. His training, in the saxophone, flute, and keyboard, began when he was a boy in Des Moines, Iowa, where he received state recognition. He went on to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has played with Jazz, Rock, Folk, SKA, Latin, and World Music bands. He has produced three CDs of original music: Papillon, Geodism, and most recently Ruby Nights. Papillon received its debut at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He has also recorded two CDs of jazz standards: Ballads, and Moments in Paris, which was inspired by Michael’s six-week tour of the jazz and blues clubs of Paris. He enjoys teaching students of all ages, inspiring them to follow their musical dreams.
